Rental desk services

Six drawers, one counter, every season

Everything the Parkwest Hafen Holdings, LLC desk does begins at the counter in Holladay and ends with a guest opening a condo door. The six services below describe how the team works across the year. Each one can be discussed at 2815 E Wanda Way, by phone on +17348492036 or by writing to rentals@rdfutahcondos.lat.

Drawer ASki

Ski Season Condo Rentals

Winter is the busiest season at the desk, and the ski drawer is the one we open most often. From the first reliable snow in December through the closing weeks in April, the condos are let in weekly, monthly and full season blocks. Each residence is chosen for a short drive to the lifts, a heated entry that keeps boots and gloves dry overnight and a secure closet for skis and boards. The desk keeps a simple gear list for every unit so a guest can confirm before booking whether the closet holds two pairs of skis or a full family set.

Ski season bookings open in late summer. Returning guests receive the first notice, then the calendar opens to new enquiries. We hold a small number of each condo back for shorter stays so that a four night trip is still possible in a popular week. Rates agreed at booking are honoured even when the snow report drives demand up later in the season. The team also helps guests time their arrival around canyon road conditions and can point to a rental shop that will fit boots the evening before a first ski day.

Guests travelling with young children can ask for a unit close to the parking area and the desk will note a cot or a bed rail on the arrival card. Dogs are welcome in a small number of units and must be declared at booking. The writing on the winter drawer is plain: who is staying, which condo, which nights, which key.

Drawer CSummer

Summer Trailhead Stays

When the snow recedes the condos become trailhead bases. Summer guests arrive for canyon hikes, high country road rides, wildflower weeks and family gatherings in the valley. The desk prepares a lighter welcome for these stays: a printed trailhead sheet in the brochure rack, a note on which canyon roads carry early morning traffic and an offer of a cooler loan for day trips. Check in is often later in the day because many guests drive up after work, and the desk will leave keys in the agreed lock box when a guest cannot reach the counter before closing.

Summer stays tend to be shorter and more spontaneous than winter bookings. The team keeps a midweek window open in each condo for guests who decide on a Thursday to spend the weekend in the mountains. Window units and fans are checked before the first warm week, and the desk notes which condos hold the afternoon shade best. Guests who want to combine a stay with a family reunion in the valley can ask about placing two condos near each other on the map board.

The same care applies in the quiet season. Every unit is walked between stays, the kitchen basics are restocked and the windows are opened to clear the air. Summer guests often tell us the condo felt cooler and calmer than they expected, which is the result of that routine rather than luck.

Drawer DGroup

Corporate Retreat Lodging

Small companies book blocks of adjacent condos for planning weeks, leadership offsites and client retreats. The unit map board is the tool that makes this work: the desk can place a team across two or three nearby residences without stacking everyone in one building, and can keep a separate condo for a guest speaker or an early rising executive. A single point of contact handles the whole group, from the first enquiry to the final key return, so the organiser is not chasing five separate bookings.

Corporate stays usually need reliable work space. The desk confirms which condos have a desk in the bedroom, which have a quiet corner in the living room and how the internet service performs. We do not promise fibre speeds we cannot verify. Where a group needs a meeting table, the desk will say plainly that a condo is not a boardroom and suggest a nearby venue for the working sessions, with the condos used for sleeping and evening meals.

Invoicing is arranged in advance, with a written summary of nights, units, cleaning and taxes. Guest names can be updated up to the arrival week, and the desk keeps a group register separate from the individual guest book so that the organiser receives one clear statement at the end of the stay.

Drawer GLong

Extended Stay Residences

Relocation, contract assignments and long family visits run from one month to a full season. Extended guests choose condos with a fuller kitchen, laundry in the unit and enough storage to live rather than camp. The desk schedules a mid stay refresh at the counter so that a six week booking receives a clean, a linen change and a walk through at the halfway point, rather than waiting until the end. Rates for longer stays are quoted as a monthly figure including utilities and a stated cleaning allowance, so the guest can budget without surprises.

Many extended guests arrive before their furniture or their family. The desk can arrange an early grocery delivery, a starter kit of paper goods and a parking pass for a second vehicle where the lot allows it. We also keep a short list of local services, from a mechanic to a dentist, that guests have used and recommended. That list is not advertising; it is a working note kept by the team.

Moving out is as organised as moving in. The desk books a departure walk through, checks the key return against the register and sends a closing statement that includes any agreed deductions. Deposits are returned by the method stated in the booking confirmation, and guests receive a written note when the return is processed.

Drawer IGuest

Guest Services and Concierge

The concierge work at this desk is practical rather than theatrical. Guests ask where to rent skis the night before a first day, how early to leave for a canyon on a storm morning, where to find a grocery order that will arrive before they do and which trail is dry enough for a stroller. The team keeps answers in a printed brochure rack at the counter and in the arrival card left in each condo. If we do not know something, we say so and find out.

Concierge support also covers the small mechanics of a stay. A guest who locks a key inside a condo calls the desk and a member of the team responds. A broken coffee pot is replaced from stock rather than left for the guest to solve. A late arrival after the counter closes is handled with a lock box arrangement agreed in advance. None of this is charged as a separate service line; it is the reason the desk exists.

The team can also arrange a mid stay clean, a cot for a visiting grandparent, a high chair, an extra parking pass where the lot permits and a late check out when the next arrival allows it. Requests are logged against the reservation so that the next person on the desk can see what was promised and to whom.

Drawer LCare

Property Care Between Stays

Property care is the quiet service that holds the rest together. Between guests the team walks each unit, runs the heating and hot water, checks for leaks under sinks, tests smoke alarms, restocks kitchen basics and launders the linens to a set standard. Anything that needs a trade visit is reported the same day, and the owner receives a written note after every walk through. The note is short and specific: what was checked, what was replaced and what needs attention next.

Seasonal care runs alongside guest turnover. Before winter the desk arranges snow removal contracts, checks the entry heating and confirms that each condo has a working shovel and grit bin. Before summer the windows, screens and fans are checked, and the exterior path lighting is tested. During extreme weather the team makes a short welfare visit to unoccupied units to confirm that pipes and heating are behaving.

Owners who live away from Holladay rely on this routine. The desk does not pretend that a condo can be left alone for a year, and it does not bill for work that was not done. A clear note after each stay is worth more than a glossy monthly report, so that is what we send.

How a booking moves through the desk

The process below is the same for a four night summer stay and a five month season block. It is deliberately short because most of the work happens at the counter, not in a pipeline.

  1. Enquiry. You send dates, group size and any needs that matter, such as a ground floor unit or a dog. The desk replies with the condos that fit.
  2. Map review. We look at the unit map board together, by phone or in person, and agree which condo suits the trip.
  3. Confirmation. You receive a written confirmation with the full price, the address, the arrival window and the desk phone number.
  4. Arrival card. A day or two before arrival the desk issues the key drawer note, the parking pass and any agreed extras.
  5. Stay support. The desk answers calls during the stay and arranges any mid stay service that was requested.
  6. Key return and walk through. The key goes back in its drawer, the unit is walked and the closing statement is sent.
